Looks like a fun workout. Just curious what your thought on the number of days to perform HIIT workouts. I see you mention not to do this workout no more than three days per week. Is there a reason why? I’ve been doing these type of workouts five days per week, although I do a different workout each day. I enjoy staying fit without going to a gym or needing a bunch of equipment.

Great job on The Home and Family show!!! Good luck on the next fitness star.
Thank you for sharing your passion for fitness.

Hi Sherri, thank you so much for the kind words and support! Since HIIT is so intense, it’s best to break it up with other forms of exercise. It can break down the body if you overdo it. You can continue doing fast paced workouts 5 times a week, but I wouldn’t do cardio HIIT 5 times.. ex: 30 seconds of high intesity cardio, resting 10 seconds and repeating for 10 minutes. I personally do this 3 times a week. The other days I still do plyometrics & cardio but with longer breaks or at a lower intensity. I also mix in a run once a week. Does this make sense? The type of HIIT that shouldn’t been “overdone” is super high intesity and that’s with any workout, you need to mix up the level and have some days be a little slower.
      Thank you so much!!!
